by both the adoptive parents and the birth parents.

is identified by an adoption agency.
- International Adoption - A child ( born in a foreign country)
is identified by an adoption agency.
Our comprehensive services also include:
- Adoption home studies.
- Counseling and guidance in preparation for raising an adopted
child.
- Post-placement services.
- Counseling for adoptees of any age and their families
- Extensive resource library of books, magazines and videos on adoption
and parenting the adopted child.
For
the Baby
A baby placed for adoption needs a loving family who is prepared
to meet the childs needs.
Adoption Resources of Jewish Family Service safeguards
the childs future by:
- Placing the child with a carefully screened and selected family.
- Offering birth parents the opportunity to help choose the adoptive
family.
- Arranging expert medical care for the birth mother and infant.
- Providing detailed information about the childs medical
and genetic history to the adoptive parents.
Because it is in the infants best interest, he or she
is placed with the prospective family immediately. In cases where
the birth family needs additional time to make a decision, placement
arrangements are made for a foster family specially trained to provide
excellent care for the child in a warm, nurturing environment.
