Jewish Family Service, in conjunction with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia runs a Food Closet. Located at JFS Newport Avenue office, and open Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., the food closet provides groceries for people who might otherwisehave to go hungry. Clients can receive donations once a month only.
