The Jewish Family Service Foundation was established to provide the continuity required
for the fulfillment of a philanthropic intent of those who seek to perpetuate their
lifelong involvement with the agency and those it has served. A healthy endowment provides
JFS with the financial foundation necessary to continue its existence as the premier
provider of social services to Hampton Roads.Many of
the programs and services Jewish Family Service provides would not exist without the
special support of the individuals and families whose generosity enabled the creation and
growth of the Jewish Family Service Foundation. The vision behind the creation of these
funds combines the traditions of the past in order to make our future the best it can be.
A person can make donations to any of these funds and it will benefit Jewish Family
Service of Tidewater.
